应光电信息研究室的邀请，国际计算智能领域著名专家加拿大University of Alberta，Witold Pedrycz教授将于8月16日～17日访问我所，并将为全所科研人员和研究生做题为《Recent Trends in Fuzzy Clustering: From Data to Knowledge》的学术报告。

　　Pedrycz教授的研究领域包括：Computational Intelligence, Human-centric Computing, Fuzzy Modeling, Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, Fuzzy Control including Fuzzy Controllers, Pattern Recognition, Knowledge-based Neural Networks, Relational Computation, Bioinformatics, and Software Engineering.
